We brought to life an unconventional and previously unseen sci-fi story for the special edition of VW jeans up! with genuine denim seats.

The astronaut and a few square meters of the moon were shot in front of a green screen. Everything else was fully designed and animated in CG by our artists. Given the tight timeline and the challenge to make the spacesuit look as realistic as possible, especially in movement, we also had to generate a full CG helmet from scratch.

The design and the development of the alien became one of our most favorite parts of the project. The entire character development, beginning with preliminary sketches and ending with Motion Capture, took us only a few weeks. Thanks to DDB Berlin and director Florian Pack for an out-of-this-world project.
